The Mayor and City Council members are the elected leaders of the City Government. They are elected to four-year terms with four members elected in November of odd-numbered years. Meetings are held 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 540 West Hills Circle. The offices of the Owatonna Police Department and the Steele County Sheriff's Department are both located at the Law Enforcement Center. All city and county emergency services are dispatched from the Center.
